WowART Learning Studio is a progressive and forward-thinking children art learning program utilizing the foremost thoughts and methodologies in Children Psychology, Creative Development, and Art Education in its signature art courses.
Education
Young Artist (7 to 9 Years Old)
This course is specifically designed to start your child’s creative journey of self-discovery and self-knowledge. Through the themes of Design, Art, Culture, Nature, Geography & Living, the child learns to develop critical thinking through observation and analysis. They will be further nurtured in their creative confidence through the independent formation of their own unique artworks. The child will do this with a variety of different mediums such as foam, gouache, clay, charcoal and pastel, among many others.
Learning Objectives:
To recognise and apply the Elemets of Art (i.e. Textures, Colours, Lines & Dots and Shapes), through the rich,diverse cultures in Singapore.
Identify and represent these elements in their artwork, appreciating that each ethnic group are represented by unique colours, patterns, shapes and designs and the meaning behind them.
Develop Dexterity and Eye Hand Coordination through the different Fine Motor tasks required during the art making process.

Final artwork will varies from 2D, 3D and mixed media.

In the process, they develop a keen curiosity, and discover the joy of learning through artistic creation. Students will be exposed to various mediums and application of techniques. Final artwork will varies from 2D, 3D and mixed media.
Learning Objectives:
The child will be able to demonstrate their understanding of different art forms and techniques through the creation of artworks in various mediums, including 2D, 3D, and mixed media.
Through exposure to themes in culture, nature, and art, the child will develop critical thinking skills and a curiosity for observing and analyzing their surroundings, which they will apply to their artistic creations.
The child will have gained confidence in their creative abilities and an appreciation for the value of artistic expression as a means of self-discovery and self-knowledge.

Through various themes in culture, nature and art, the child is exposed to different shapes, colours and materials. In the process, they develop a keen curiosity, and discover the joy of learning through artistic creation. Students will be exposed to various mediums and application of techniques. Final artwork will varies from 2D, 3D and mixed media.

This course will let the child to explore a variety of material possibilities and tools such as oil pastels, soft pastels and clay among others. The course sessions are aimed at developing the child's fine motor skills. The child will delve into the endless possibilities with lines and dots, focus and enlargement, weaving art, and some basic techniques.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, the child will have developed their fine motor skills through the use of various art materials and tools, such as oil pastels, soft pastels, and clay.
Through exploring different techniques such as lines and dots, focus and enlargement, and weaving art, the child will develop their creativity and problem-solving skills, which they will apply to their artistic creations.
The child will have gained an appreciation for the endless possibilities of artistic expression with different materials and techniques. They will be able to articulate their thoughts and ideas behind their artwork and communicate their artistic vision to others.

Description: This course will let the child to explore a variety of material possibilities and tools such as oil pastels, soft pastels and clay among others. Wow! Creative and Aesthetics Early Years Program
The lessons are designed to ignite children’s curiosity and imagination. Through exploring and experimenting with different materials, media and techniques and learning the Elements of Art, we nurture their creative confidence to express and share ideas and feelings fluently.
As approved partners of Early Childhood Development Agency and National Arts Council - Arts Education Programme and Artist In School Scheme, our facilitators are trained by our resident NAC certified art education specialist and professional art instructors.Â
The desired learning outcomes are aligned to the NEL learning areas of Aesthetic and Creative Expression (Visual Art), Discovery of the World and Motor Skills Development (Fine Motor Skills).

What We Offer
We offer the following key components in 80 90-minute lessons:
To promote the development of fine and gross motor skills through art, music, dance, and other physical activities.
To promote independence and self-confidence by encouraging children to take risks, make choices, and pursue their interests and passions.
To develop children's aesthetic senses by exposing them to different forms of art, music, and culture, and encouraging them to appreciate and respond to these experiences.
Beginner Course
This program is designed for students who are new to programming and robotics. The level covers the basics of programming concepts, such as sequences, loops, and conditionals, and the fundamentals of robotics.Â
Intermediate Course
This program covers advanced topics such as machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. Students will learn to build and program complex robots, and apply AI concepts to solve real-world problems.
Advanced Course
This program delves into complex subjects like deep learning, neural networks, and advanced AI algorithms. Through this program, students can develop the skills required to build and program sophisticated robots capable of performing intricate tasks.

Outline of Programme:
This program combines immersive educational experiences with the vibrant colors and artistry of Singapore's diverse communities, creating a unique and engaging learning environment. This program provides participants with a deep understanding of Singapore's rich cultural heritage and the many ways in which it has shaped the country's modern identity. Participants will have the opportunity to explore traditional crafts, music, dance, and visual arts, and to engage with local artists, historians, and cultural experts.

3D Sculpture
Outline of Programme:
Using the familiar Singapore landmark of the Supertree Sculpture and the Jigsaw Sculpture, children shall learn the different Sculturing Techniques, which includes using Wire art and Clay to create their 3D Sculptures. They shall apply the Art Techniques learned, like Marbling Painting and Creating Textures to apply the Elements of Art to express their ideas and feelings in their decoration of their artwork. The process of Sculptural Art allows children to explore and experiment with different mediums and materials, honing their inventiveness and cultivating their eye-hand coordination as they perform fine motor tasks.
Learning Objectives:
Understand and articulate the definitions of 3D sculptures
Learn different sculptural techniques using Wire Art, Clay Modelling and explore different mediums used for sculptural work.
Recognise the Elements of Art (Colours, Lines & Dots, Textures & Shapes) in their surroundings and environment and apply to the different Elements of Art to represent their ideas and feelings when decorating their Sculpture.

Installation Art
Outline of Programme:
This series of lessons are inspired by the works of local famous Installation Artist Ms. Donna Ong. Using the Aquarium as its main theme, children shall learn the different techniques of Installation Art, namely Painting and Modelling and use different materials found in the environment like paper, sand, sticks, pebbles to express their ideas and feeling in their artwork. The programme shall also focus on the learners' development of their problem solving skills and the fine motor skills development to manipulate objects with dexterity on their creation of this Installation Artwork.
Learning Objectives:
Articulate the definition of an installation Art
Observe the Elements of Art (Colours, Lines & Dots, Textures & Shapes) in the environment and apply these Elements to represent their personal experiences in what they see, hear and feel in their artwork.

Fun with Printmaking
Outline of Programme:
Through this series of fun and enagaing Printmaking lessons, the children shall explore the Elements of Art while applying the different techniques of Printmaking through the themes of Singapore's popular Peranakan culture and those of local famous printmaking Artists. Children shall learn and apply the Art Elements of colours, lines & dots, textures and shape through relating them with their environment and surroundings and expand their art language and skills of the different printmaking tools and mediums. They shall learn the ability to talk about their use of the different printmaking tools and mediums. They shall learn the ability to talk about their use of the different Elements of Art in their artwork and how they think and feel about the artworks of the Peranakan culture and the Printmaking artists. The learning process also cultivates their eye-hand coordination as they perform the fine motor tasks needed in the Printmaking process.
Learning Objectives:
Understand and talk about what they think and feel about the art of Printmaking, used in the Peranakan culture and popular Singapore Printmaking artists.
Apply their understanding of the different Printmaking techniques like Transferral Printing, Stencil Prining and Relief Printing and be able to distinguish the different tools used for each Printmaking Techniques.

Mosaic Art
Outline of Programme:
The children shall learn, understand and talk about the Elements of Art; mainly - colours, lines & dots and shape relating to their environment and surroundings. They shall work with a variety of mediums and mosaic materials, including Modelling Clay, Gouache Paints to explore the techniques of the mosaic making, through the themes of the Peranakan Tiles and Popular Singapore Landmarks. Through these lessons, children shall also develop their problem solving skills and develop control and coordination in fine motor tasks.
Learning Objectives:
Understand and talk about the Mosaic Art in the Peranakan culture.
Translate the drawing to an arrangement of tiles to form patterns and shapes
Understand the importance of the Elements of Art (Colours, Lines & Dots, Shape) in the creation the Mosaic Artwork.

Texture in Sculptures
Outline of Programme:
This program enables children to understand, learn and apply paper sculpturing techniques to create their collage artworks. They will learn to tell the difference between different textures and use these techniques to make designs and patterns. Using well-known artist stimuli to encourage children's imagination and expand the way children look at art. The program develops childrens' creative confidence as they acquire art knowledge, explore and learn to appreciate the aesthetics of this art form.
